A key to the success is to revere the newfangled requisites of present epoch and revamp the way you assimilate. The moment your quest for indagation dwindles down, you cease to be an arduous learner. For your personal, professional & social metamorphosis you need to be germane to learn, cognize, augment & elucidate or you would become inapt in the process of education. To keep this learning & exploring obsolescence at bay, the Library Department of DIMR had organised a Training Session for the Faculty members, to know & effectively use the new-age tools & techniques in the research realm. The session was conducted by Mr. Chandrakant Ganvir, Training Manager, EBSCO Information Services India Pvt. Ltd.
FDP on Choice Based Credit System & Grading System (CBCGS) Pattern
“In the changing academic scenario, especially in the Management course, it is need of the time for the faculties to keep themselves updated. On the background of revised MBA
curriculum, a faculty development program was conducted by Dr. Mohsin Shaikh, Professor & Head at SKNCOE. Firstly he gave the review of changed curriculum and how it will make MBA graduates more employable. ”
He then suggested ways for improved methods of teaching and how it can be made more enjoyable.
FDP On “Building Intrapreneurial Culture: A need for organizations today”
A one day Faculty Development Program “Building Intrapreneurial Culture: A need for organizations today” was organized at DIMR on 27th May, 2014. Eminent personality Mr. Bharat Damani was invited as a speaker for the FDP. He is a management and education consultant. The program started with a warm welcome of the speaker by Dr. Sajid Alvi, Director-DIMR. During h the sessions Mr. Damani stated the importance of Intrapreneural culture and how to build the culture. The FDP ended with the certificates distribution. .
FDP on "Writing Research Paper" : Dr. Sachin Kamble
Dr. Kamble is an eminent speaker on Research methodology and his research work has been published in various national & international Journals. Dr. Sachin Kamble gave an overview of how to write research paper. He briefed the participants regarding the format of the ideal research paper, procedures and methods to be followed. He took technical session on how to analyze data using SPSS. More than 45 participants from various Institutes participated and gave a positive response on the session & Hospitality of DIMR.
