National Conference 2019

#DIMR successfully organized National Conference on Strategising Innovation and Entrepreneurship for Development in association with GIENET and MTA.
The two-day National Conference was designed to provide a common platform to the academicians, professors, research scholars, industry experts and students from all across the nation to share and disseminate knowledge. The conference was a gathering of experts to “confer” about their own and each other’s work. It provided a platform to hear experts illustrate on their work and to exchange their views on various topics relevant to the conference theme.

The gracious event on day 1 started with lighting of lamp by Dignitaries. The audience was then addressed by Dr. Sajid Alvi, Director, DIMR followed by Mr. Mahesh Wankhede, GIENET and Liher Arbide, MTA.

The occasion was graced by Chief Guest Ms Muzna Memon, VP, Northern Trust Corporation, senior professional with over 20 years of audit & finance service industry experience; who spoke about Intrapreneurship, creative thinking and innovation. She emphasized on growth mindset in the organization linking it with skills, empathy, diversity, resourcefulness, insight and commitment.
The event was a successful conglomeration of brilliant minds.

Ms. Sonia Kongeti, Founder PULA awardee of Nari Shakti award and appointed as Star Ambassador of Maharastra spoke about her journey in PULA and described the power of social media for online business.

Divya Rajput, Project Manager South Asia Connect emphasized on creating Value proposition for addressing customer need and satisfaction.
Mr. Ketan Gandhi an alumnus from IIM-A and Harvard Business School in executive education, consultant and intrapreneur at Prasham Innovation Management OPC Pvt. Ltd. and KgGuruji Consulting and services. He spoke on the growing importance of networking and the need for creative thinking for business.

Dr. Ayub Khan Dawood, Dean, Cresent Institue of Science and Technology Chennai with more than 30 years of teaching and research experience in Higher learning environments, grabbed the attention of the audience with his real life examples like Dabba wala’s from Mumbai.
