Induction Program Day 2 at DIMR: A Memorable and Insightful Experience

The event was an enriching experience for the students, as they had the opportunity to hear from eminent speakers who shared their corporate experiences and personal insights.
The day began with an inspiring welcome speech by Director Dr. Sajid Alvi, who acknowledged the students at the DIMR campus, he emphasized that students must make the most of their time at DIMR by acquiring not just academic knowledge but also practical skills and values that would guide them in their professional journeys. Secretary Dr. Saagar Balwadkar followed with his own welcome speech, further encouraging the students to take advantage of the opportunities that lie ahead.
The program started with the session led by Mr. Balaji Narayan, a prominent industry leader. His session focused on providing the students with a glimpse of the real-world corporate environment, shedding light on the expectations and challenges they would face as they transition from academic life to the corporate sector. Following Mr. Narayan’s session, the students were addressed by Mrs. Saapna Sharma, who shared her thoughts on balancing personal and professional life. She highlighted the significance of self-care and mental well-being as crucial elements for success, both personally and professionally. The morning sessions concluded with an inspiring talk by Mr. Sachin Aghor, another distinguished professional from the corporate world. Mr. Aghor shared his extensive experience and insights into the industry, focusing on practical strategies for achieving professional success.
The post-afternoon session kicked off with a highly motivating talk by Ms. Pooja Sinha on the topic “Start You.” The session was organized to encourage students to take charge of their lives and careers from the very beginning. The day concluded with a meditation session, providing the students with a moment of relaxation.
