Induction Program 2017

With the theme ‘Pursuit of Excellence’ the Induction Program for MBA-2017,commenced on4 th August 2017 with a great enthusiasm. The students of MBA 2017-19 Batch received a warm welcome by their seniors with a welcome kit for the induction programme.The Program was graced by Dr. Prafulla Pawar- Dean, at Department of Management Sciences (PUMBA), Savitribai Phule Pune University; Major Rahul More, and Dr. Sajid Alvi,Director, DIMR.With a hope that darkness, the enemy of knowledge disappears and the world enlightens with wisdom, Induction program was inaugurated with lighting of the lamp. The dignitaries were felicitated with a sapling as a token of our appreciation.
The program started off with the video shared by the seniors showcasing their MBA journey.The video inspired the juniors to mark their new journey at DIMR by learning and imbibing the culture which will help them become future management leaders.The Director, Dr. Sajid Alvi addressed the students with his wise words, motivating them to
work hard throughout the year.The audience, soon, transformed into a pool of insightful, thoughtful and keen listeners as Dr. Prafulla Pawar came on the dice. He helped students to take an insight and introspect about the kind of learning they have had in their past educational journey. He showcased the students, the challenges they are going to face in future and how these two years of MBA are going to help them overcome those challenges.Maj. Rahul More made students realise the importance of discipline, vigour, hard work, agility and versatility in the corporate world and shared his profound knowledge, enriching experiences and words of wisdom with the students.
The next session came with the wonderful surprises for the students. It was held by Mr. Atul Kherde, Founder Director, Thought-Craft Pvt. Ltd. His great experience of training the students and professionals in life skills and corporate skills brought the best from the students and made them realize their potential.
The Ice Breaking sessions were organised and executed by the seniors, to their juniors to better know them, understand each other, and make them well cohesive as an effective team for their upcoming two years of management studies successfully.
